Budapest is about to host a wine event like no other. In February 2026, Vingardium Around the World brings together the tastes of 16 countries in a single evening of discovery, flavor, and global culture. Nearly 60 wines will be available for tasting – including rare and exotic bottles that are almost never seen in Hungary.
A one-night passport to global wine culture
This unique walk-around tasting invites wine lovers to explore regions far beyond Europe. South America, Asia, and Africa will all be represented, alongside the best-known European vineyards. From bold reds to crisp whites and hidden gems from remote regions, the variety promises to be as exciting as it is educational.
The concept comes from Dávid Rodriguez, founder of Világ Borai (“Wines of the World”), who worked with experienced sommeliers to curate an extraordinary selection. Special attention was given to wines that remain little-known even within professional circles – making this event a true treasure hunt for curious palates.
Art meets wine at Apollo Gallery
The event will take place at Apollo Gallery, a contemporary art space in Budapest that provides a stylish and creative backdrop for this international tasting journey. Guests can enjoy live music and a selection of gourmet exhibitors, turning the night into a multi-sensory experience.
One ticket includes unlimited tasting of all wines. Attendees can choose from early bird or couple passes, which also include gastronomy and cocktail vouchers. Early bird tickets are available until December 30, 2025.
